The following information is provided to assist your enjoyment of this property.

Noonyara Retreat is located on the lands of the Gadubanud people of the Maar Nation and is registered with 'Trust for Nature' as 'Land for Wildlife'. The owners are committed to living simply and regeneratively, with respect for the native flora and fauna of the property.

Noonyara Retreat Apollo Bay acknowledges and pays respect to the Traditional Owners and Elders, past and present, of the lands on which we operate. We acknowledge Aboriginal connection to cultural and creative practice for more than 65,000 years on the lands that we work on and extend our respect to First Nations people throughout the communities where we live and work. We acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded.

The land is situated within the old Marengo Forest and is home to native bushland, waterways and diverse wildlife, including king parrots, kingfishers, kookaburras, echidnas, wallabies and koalas, as well as a diverse range of fungi.
An on-site walking trail is available for guests to enjoy, with a map provided inside the accommodation. The property boundary is marked by white posts, and guests are required to remain within the designated property boundary.

Only residents or guests of Noonyara Retreat arts residency, nature stays, workshops or events are allowed onsite. Pets, smoking and onsite open fires are prohibited.
